We join Management Development Services (MDS) as associate members
The company is now an associate member of MDS, a fresh produce graduate scheme. The program is designed to provide graduates with experience in four different companies within different roles over a two year period as well as gaining a post graduate certificate (Pgc) in Food and Fresh Produce Management. Currently Emma Kelcher a final secondment trainee working in the pre pack side of the busines and Victoria Lee a former MDS trainee is working in the supply chain managment side of the business.
Emma joined R.S.Cockerill in April this year and is learning the processes and systems involved with pre pack supply chain and the buying of potatoes. Emma has a passion to work in the potato sector and has been building her knowledge of the industry since starting work with potatoes in 2007, in 2011 Emma graduated from Harper Adams with a BSc Honours Degree in Food Quality and Business Managment.
Victoria joined R.S.Cockerill in April this year. She has joined the supply chain managment department, working closely with PepsiCo International and R.S.Cockerill agronomy team, to provide weekly crop growth updates throughout the season as well as I-Crop monitoring in which she already has expereince. Victoria will be working closely with Richard to set up further trials and crop monitoring in order to gain better understanding of new varieties and provide feedback to growers. Victoria graduated from Liverpool in 2009 with a BA honours Degree in Law and Criminology, when she then returned to her farming roots and in 2013 graduated with a Pgc in Food and Fresh Produce Management from Harper Adams.
