Trials Day at R S Cockerill
The ongoing search for the next variety, the next best techniques and the perfect crisp never stops. That's what our processing trials programme is all about.
On Tuesday 13th August we held our Annual Grower Trials day, next to the Packhouse near Holtby. There are the usual up and coming variety trials, but this year a strong emphasis on alternatives to artificial fertiliser, and techniques for optimising uptake. Regenerative farming practices continue to be a focus for our growers and customers and part of the trials programme demonstrates how these can be adopted into everyday practices.
