R.S.Cockerill recruit young fields person - Richard Wilson
Richard recently joined the company in May working with the supply chain managment department, as a fields person. Working closely with Victoria they will be undertaking the monitoring of potato crops during the growing season, providing weekly feedback to growers on crop performance and providing technical assessments of quality and yield. Richard will also undertake the study of specific trial sites to ensure future crops are grown in the most sustainable and profitable way for the grower.
Richards previous experience has included 6 years employment on a mixed farm in West Yorkshire. This provided excellent opportunities to implement theories studied at both Askahm Bryan and Bishop Burton College where he attained a BSc Honours Degree in Agricultural Resource Management.
