Joe Weston joins the team
Joe started with us at the beginning of September, his role is primarily to support both the fresh and processing aspects of the business to maintain and strengthen relations with our many suppliers. Previously Joe has won the Farmers Weekly Farmers Apprentice but he has most recently been helping manage a mixed farm on the Isle of Axholme. He has previous potato experience through his time spent training with Farmcare, where he was heavily involved with the potato growing operation. Joe is also currently part of the Tesco Future Farmers Foundation, which provides an interesting insight into the relationships between growers and retailers and the challenges that can arise as a result.
