Practical Sessions on Cultivations and PCN
A three day practical session on cultivations and PCN control was held at Slingsby Bank from the 30th July to 1st of August, by the kind permission of Andrew Wilson. The event, organised by the Potato Council, saw grower groups attend information and practical sessions. Matthew Smallwood and John Sarup were on hand to advise growers on emergence, soil resistance, compaction and canopy development. Our own `chefs` Victoria and Richard were on hand preparing bacon sandwiches on Tuesday and Thursday morning, providing a hearty breakfast before the walks began.
