EMR Machinery Ring Visit - Tuesday 17th October
Austrian, German and Swedish delegates from the European Machinery Ring Annual conference joined Martin, Rufus and Allie on Tuesday at the R S Cockerill Providence Business Park for a talk on Cockerills; it's history and how the company operates today. This was followed by a tour around our packhouse and processing lab. The group, organised by Joe Barrowman of Ridings Machinery Ring, had just begun a 3 day tour of innovative farming businesses across the North East and talks from a variety of consultants and farming body representatives. We were delighted to be included in their itinery and the opportunity to demonstrate how we operate in the UK and compare this to farming on the continent.
